Habanero salsa is the soul of Southeastern Mexican gastronomy, this version stands out for its bright orange color and a very smooth, emulsified consistency, served in a square glass bowl. Accompanied by a corn tortilla chip and whole habanero peppers, its flavor combines intense heat with fruity notes, making it the perfect complement for cochinita pibil or seafood.

    Wash the habanero peppers and remove the stems.

    Lightly roast the peppers and garlic on a griddle to soften their flavor and release aromas.

    Blend the peppers and garlic with the sour orange juice and salt.
