The story behind

The Blue Hawaiian was created in 1957 in Waikiki, Hawaii, to showcase the color of Blue Curaçao liqueur. As seen in the image, the cocktail evokes Pacific waters with its bright, translucent blue hue. It is served in a Hurricane glass with plenty of crushed ice and garnished exuberantly with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry, capturing the essence of a tropical vacation.
