The story behind
Tarator soup is the perfect companion for hot summer days. As seen in the image **Sopa Tarator.png**, this soup stands out for its creamy white base speckled with finely chopped fresh dill and tiny cucumber cubes. It is presented in a white double-handled bowl, accompanied by fresh cucumber slices, a large bunch of dill, and garlic cloves, ingredients that give it its vibrant and aromatic flavor profile.
Instructions
-
1In a large bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth and lump-free.
-
2Add the minced garlic and olive oil, mixing well.
-
3Stir in the finely diced cucumber and fresh dill, reserving a little for garnish.
-
4Slowly add cold water until you reach the desired consistency, similar to what is seen in the **Sopa Tarator.png** photo.
-
5Season with salt to taste and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
-
6Serve chilled, garnishing with more dill and, if desired, chopped walnuts for extra crunch.
