Long Island Iced Tea

The story behind

Despite its name, this cocktail contains no tea. It was created to offer a refreshing yet high-alcohol drink. As seen in the image, it is served in a tall highball glass with plenty of ice, featuring an amber gradient ranging from a golden hue at the base to a deep coffee brown at the top. The garnish of a fresh lemon slice and mint leaves on the rim enhances its summery and festive appearance.

Instructions

  1. 1
Fill a tall glass to the top with ice cubes.
  2. 2
Pour all the spirits and the lemon juice directly into the glass.
  3. 3
Gently add the cola to achieve the color effect shown in the photo.
  4. 4
Stir briefly with a bar spoon to integrate the flavors.
  5. 5
Garnish with the lemon slice and a sprig of mint as seen in the image.
